She Takes The Lead

After feeling uneasy
For quite some time
After seeking assurance
After trying to find Solutions by playing the game
The same rules
That are written in stone
Without any dispute The world it is changing
And she wants to be
Part of the solution
It is her legacy And for that to happen
And for changes to see
She knows that it’s time
She must take the lead She did try to follow
She did try to fit in
She did all she could
But it felt wrong within Those leading the status
Between rich & poor
Seemed kind on the surface
But their work was not for Those who did need it
The help they required
In the end the same story
Was told in different lies She knew that the changes
They needed to see
Would take time to conquer
The fear, rooted deep Within all the people
Lured by power and greed
Abundance for all
Is what she will decree But the eventual feeling
That burns deep inside
Grows stronger and stronger
She cannot deny And when that occurs
There is no going back
It is her time to step up
And to lead the pack In kindness, compassion
Abundance for all
To those who agree
To those who have heard the call So if you are feeling
A desire, a deep need
Rise up.  It is time
